Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from my first session?
For many, the idea of starting therapy can feel daunting. We understand that the unknown can trigger anxiety, and we're here to support you through it. Our process begins with an initial assessment to identify the areas of your life that feel most challenging and to clarify the goals you hope to achieve through therapy. From there, we take the time to truly get to know you. You are always in control of the conversation, and we encourage you to share whatever is on your mind.

As we work together, we’ll help you move closer to your goals by providing education, practical tools, and guidance on reshaping perspectives and narratives. While therapy can be difficult and sometimes involves confronting painful experiences, it can lead to meaningful healing and growth. It might feel harder before it gets better, but our goal is to support you through the healing process and enhance your ability to navigate both your inner and outer worlds. We view therapy as a collaborative journey—after all, you know yourself better than anyone else.
