Girl in Therapy

Adolescents & Teens

We understand that adolescence can be a challenging time filled with rapid changes and emotional ups and downs. Our approach to adolescent and teen therapy focuses on providing a safe, supportive space where young people can express themselves freely and explore their feelings and experiences. We value each teen's unique perspective and strive to help them feel understood, respected, and validated.

We work with adolescents to unpack the issues that may be causing stress or conflict, whether it’s peer relationships, family dynamics, school pressures, or self-esteem concerns. Our goal is to help teens develop healthier coping strategies, improve communication skills, and build resilience, empowering them to navigate their challenges more effectively.

Our therapists are committed to creating a non-judgmental, inclusive environment where all teens, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, feel welcome and supported.

Let us help your teen build confidence, find balance, and thrive during these formative years!

Some Ways We Can Help:

Child Playing

Play & Art Therapy

We use the natural language of children, including play, art, and talk therapies, based on their developmental needs. Our counselors are trained in these methods to help kids express their feelings in ways that feel most comfortable. We work to help your child identify their emotions and process their experiences through creative and supportive approaches.

Parent Consultations

We believe families work best when everyone shares the same goals. We meet with parents regularly, depending on the child's age and situation, to involve the family in the healing process. Our goal is to provide a safe space for the child while working together as a team to support their well-being. We understand that parents bring their own experiences and concerns, and we're here to support the whole family.

Solving Questions

We offer advanced, FDA-approved QB Testing to diagnose ADHD. Because symptoms of ADHD, trauma, and anxiety can overlap, this test helps us identify specific traits for a clearer diagnosis. It measures inattentiveness, restlessness, and impulsivity, aiding in confirming diagnoses for medical treatment. This helps us understand each person's challenges and create a more effective treatment plan with targeted coping skills.
